Neo is the new series of vessels, created recently by studio fe. At first glance the 2 vessels appear as if taken from a hyper-future. A future of intense neon color, one of a crispy sharp pink.
Their form, however, sends us to ancient times as if it were receptacles from previous cultures.
This duality, this mix of future-past perfect stored in one, shows us once more, how design has the capacity to fold time within matter.
It is hard to realize that these are hand-made-METAL vases. They actually look like plastic from the outside
and clay or concrete from the inside… These tricky materiality qualities take the fictional concept one step further.
